SEBRING, FLORIDA - OLDIES MUSIC, 1950s, 1960s, RODEO MUSIC, NEWSTALGIA, CLASSIC COUNTRY, TWIST,  BEACH BOP, 50s & 60s
If you like Newstalgia Music, 50s, 60s retro or oldies bands, rodeos or bull riding, stop on in.
My name is Reese Thomas.  I'm a Sebring Florida entertainer, one man band, you know, a solo act   I perform and write  newstalgia music and oldies.  I play clubs, corporate functions, concerts, fraternal organizations, fairs, festivals, casinos, and private parties.  I perform newstalgia music as well as oldies music from the 1950's, 1960's, 1970's, country music, classic rock, standards and novelty songs. There's a lot in this section, what I do,  where I do it, my  gig calendar, bits about my music, contact info. ..      Come See Me!

I also play large rodeos and bull ridings both as an opening musical act and as a 'rodeo band'  I've been with one large rodeo stock contractor, Five Star Rodeo, for about 20 years, performed at the PRCA Southeast Circuit Finals Rodeo 12 times, as well as doing many shows for others.  Just give me 8 seconds, I'll show you some of my   'Rodeo Life.'

Frankly, I don't like talking about the past... I love it!  This is not just my story, it's a sort of time capsule into the world of the 1960's, 1970's and 1980's bar band and nightclub scene, the clubs, lounges, some road stories, all from the perspective of a 35 year veteran entertainer.

RezRodeo, The Brighton Seminole Reservation Rodeo Site The 'Rez.' is a central Florida hotbed of rodeo activity, hosting both the Dodge ProRodeo Southeast Circuit Finals, the $100,000 Brighton Field Days Rodeo, and many other events. I've also got some general rodeo info and links

Newstalgia Music, 50s, 60s, 70s, Retro, Oldies  Confused about  the difference? For some reason, there's not much on the net about newstalgia music,  Visit my newstalgia page, you might learn something useless...There's even info about the 'Bob Song.'

Hey Guitar Players or other Acoustic and Electric String Instrument Owners or Players
Hey folks, this is NOT a paid link, advertisement, etc. It's my personal endorsement of this guy.  He's an incredible luthier (guitar builder) and acoustic instrument repairman. His name is Ken Blount, he is a C.F. Martin authorized warranty center, does vintage acoustic musical instrument restoration (although he also did some work on a couple of my electrics) and buys and sells fine acoustic instruments as well.

He's a one man shop (none of the repairs are done by some low paid 'trainee')    and his abalone inlay work has to be seen to be believed.  Ken hand-crafts one-of-a-kind acoustic guitars under his own name (Blount, no jokes about ''blount instruments,'  please, I've already made them all.)  He is not much for self promotion, so I've built him a couple of web pages, go check him out at www.kenblount.com

To get you started, I've divided my site into 5 main sections. Enjoy your stay and feel free to drop me an email Thanks, Reese Thomas
